The evening timeline
Time is easy to lose when you can't see it. Lay your evening out on one line — a block for each thing — and the hours turn into something you can look at, not just something that slips by.
My evening
thought club.How to use it
Add one block at a time: what it is, when it starts, when it ends. Each one takes its place on the line, so you can see the whole stretch at a glance — where the free time is, where things are packed too tight, whether the thing you're dreading is really as long as it feels.
Keep it loose. Leaving a gap on purpose is a plan, not a failure. When it looks right, print it or save it as a PDF — or set it on a whiteboard and rebuild it fresh each evening.
Tip: pick one colour per kind of thing in your head — breaks, homework, meals — and the shape of your evenings starts to feel familiar.
